We stay in the charming seaside resort of PLAYA DE ISLA surrounded by small sandy coves and a dramatic shoreline. You will have a free time to explore and relax here. The hotel has direct and private access to the Suances & La Barrosa Coves and the Quejo river.

SANTILLANA DEL MAR is said to be one of the most perfectly preserved medieval villages in Spain and most probably Europe too! Its cobblestone streets and ancient buildings have a timeless feel along with the honey coloured sandstone mansion and bustling plazas.

SAN VINCENTE DE LA BARQUERA is a picturesque, thriving fishing port that has excellent beaches, an old town with a lovely Romanesque-Gothic church, a castle and an historic bridge with 28 arches! All set against the exceptional backdrop of the snow-capped mountains.

CASTRO URDIALES is one of the prettiest fishing ports in Cantabria. People come from far and wide to sample its excellent waterfront restaurants, relax on the beach, admire the Gothic Church of Santa Maria and 13th century castle, both overlooking the harbour.

The PICOS DE EUROPA NATIONAL PARK is reached from the coast by travelling through the dramatic river gorge of the Rio Derva. The Park itself consists of three large mountain ranges with more than 200 peaks, impressive canyons, chasms and caves.

POTES is a beautiful market town set high in the Picos de Europa mountains, it has many 17th and 18th century buildings, the most striking of which is the Town Hall and the old bridges of San Cayetano and La Cárcel, over the Quiviesa river.

SANTANDER is an elegant city with excellent views of the Cantabrian coast. Its historic quarter with majestic buildings and maze of narrow streets are set against an incredible natural backdrop of sea and mountains.
