LA CLUSAZ is a French ski resort which has not lost any of its small-village charm, regarded by many as one of the most picturesque mountain villages in France. Its typical of the Savoyard region with a charming church and village square at its centre, from where the village fans out into three main shopping streets, each packed with wonderful food shops, bars and restaurants.

The beautiful lakeside town of ANNECY is often described as the ‘Venice of the Alps’, as you explore the charming canals and narrow streets, you will see why.

A GUIDED WALKING TOUR of the town gives an insight into its fascinating history and a CIRCULAR CRUISE of the lake gives you time to admire this charming town from a different perspective.

Discover the chic mountain resort of CHAMONIX with the magnificent Mont Blanc as its backdrop! The town is dotted with a rich and diverse architectural heritage where traditional and modern styles rub shoulders.

TRAIN DU MONTENVERS Board the famous little red train for a 20 minute journey climbing 1,000 metres to view the impressive Mer de Glace. This rack and pinion railway climbs the mountain passing through forests, over viaducts and through tunnels cut through the rock. As the train takes its last bend into the high mountains a stunning panorama opens out before you with the glacier below!

The MER DE GLACE (SEA of ICE) is like a sea frozen in motion! From the summit its possible to descend via cable car for a closer look.

Set on the shores of Lake Geneva is YVOIRE a pretty French lakeside village that has hardly changed across the centuries. Discover the ramparts, the fortified gates and an impressive 14th century castle. The village is awash with flowers; climbing on the roofs, running along the alleys and squares, brightening up the wooden terraces.

Lake Leman is the biggest lake in Europe and along its edge we find the lovely town of EVIAN-LES-BAINS. The town first became popular with visitors after the discovery of its famous mineral water and spa baths which first opened in 1824! A walk along the lakeside reveals wonderful views across the lake to Switzerland. Away from the waterfront explore the attractive medieval streets and market square, don’t miss the Quai Paul Leger, a musical fountain!
