Explore the romantic double moated HEVER CASTLE where 700 years of history unfurl as you wander through its warren of rooms. Once the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, second wife of Henry VIII, it formed the unlikely backdrop to a sequence of tumultuous events that changed the course of Britain’s history, monarchy and religion. You have the day to explore the beautifully decorated rooms with their warming log fires and twinkling Christmas trees.

Be among the few who can boast they had LUNCH AT HEVER CASTLE as our visit also includes a two-course seasonal lunch.

Wrap up warm for an evening visit to BEDGEBURY NATIONAL PINETUM to experience a magnificent, illuminated CHRISTMAS TRAIL. Over a million twinkling lights and seasonal sounds fill the air. Discover sparkling tunnels of light, glimpse the stars as you walk under giant baubles and beneath glistening trees drenched in jewel-like colour. For a moment of reflection, rest a while by the mesmerising flames in the fire garden.
