BABBACOMBE a charming village, set high on a red sandstone cliff has picturesque views of both Oddicombe and Babbacombe’s golden sandy beaches. A cliff railway – one of the few original working funicular railways still in existence today, takes you down to the beach where you’ll find a small pier and genteel seafront. A must see while staying in Babbacombe is its wonderful Model Village, set in 4 acres of award-winning gardens, you’ll discover a miniature world with hundreds of scenes portraying British life and culture over the decades.
