IRONBRIDGE “VALLEY OF INVENTION” Follow in historic footsteps as you visit one of the world’s great bridges IRONBRIDGE symbolising where the Industrial Revolution began. At the Tollhouse see the exhibition and learn of how and why the magnificent bridge was built! Situated in the original, unique warehouse is the MUSEUM OF THE GORGE. At BLISTS HILL VICTORIAN TOWN experience everyday life in 1900 Britain and see how technological advances in industry were changing people’s lives. Stroll through the town and meet its craftspeople, at the bank exchange modern money for pounds, shillings and pence, discover unusual remedies at the pharmacy and enjoy an old-fashioned fairground ride.

Enjoy A SCENIC DRIVE through the woods of Wenlock Edge. Nearby is STOKESAY CASTLE, the finest and best-preserved fortified, medieval, manor house in England.
