ST HELIER was once a small fishing village, today its the island’s vibrant capital with a unique mix of shopping opportunities, fine restaurants and relaxing cafes in which to watch the world go by. St Helier is surrounded by history, discover the amazing Elizabeth Castle, a fortress that defended Jersey for more than 400 years, accessed by boat or a causeway at low tide. Also showcasing the island’s history is the Maritime and Jersey Museums, both are well worth a visit. From St Helier harbour take a scenic stroll along the promenade following the contour of the beach to reach St Aubins, just over 4 miles away, or climb aboard ‘Le Petit Train’ which follows the same route.

From St Helier we take in St Brelade’s Bay, Corbiere Lighthouse, St Ouen’s Bay, the northern coast, and Gorey Harbour. Enjoy perfect views of the island’s picturesque beaches and coves, pausing along the way for photo opportunities. Our return journey takes us along the rugged east coast.

Enjoy TWO FREE DAYS at leisure giving you time to explore independently. Jersey has a convenient ‘Hop On Hop Off’ bus system, this can be used for travel around the island and tickets can be bought locally. Perhaps visit the world-famous Jersey Zoo founded by Gerald Durrell or the fascinating Jersey War Tunnels. Alternatively, if you fancy visiting the beautiful French medieval walled city of St Malo its possible to take the ferry across the water – a passport will be essential.
