The ancient town of CARDIGAN sits on the estuary of the river Teifi at the base of Cardigan Bay. A great way to spend the day is a boat trip to see the dolphins in the bay or visit Cardigan Castle where you can explore the medieval walls to seek out the castle remains and visit the Georgian Mansion.

TENBY is a town steeped in ancient history surrounded by a medieval stone wall. Inside its wall you’ll find quaint cobbled streets and the picturesque harbour full of pretty boats. Its also famous for its two beautiful beaches, Harbour Beach and Castle Beach.

ABERYSTWYTH is a melting pot of cultures and ideas with a range of museums, archives and galleries. The promenade still retains much of its Georgian and Victorian character but its actually a lot older, as proved by the ruins of the Medieval castle, just south of the harbour. The best views of the bay can be seen from Constitution Hill reached by the Cliff Railway which opened 128 years ago!

ST DAVIDS is a beautiful and unique city, the smallest in Britain and named after the patron saint of Wales. Here you’ll find the magnificent Cathedral that dates back to the 12th century and adjacent is the imposing medieval palace ruins.

CARMARTHEN is the oldest town in Wales and has a reputation of many myths and legends! Amongst the narrow cobbled streets you’ll find St Catherine’s and Merlin’s Walk with a wide variety of shops or visit the new Carmarthen Market.
