KING’S LYNN was one of England’s most important ports and its maritime past is still very much in evidence today. There’s an amazing array of historic buildings; fine old merchant’s houses, an elegant Custom House overlooking the harbour and two magnificent market places.

WHAT-A-HOOT is a multi-award-winning distillery in a restored warehouse that dates back to the 16th century. Owned and run by husband-and-wife team, it offers a range of locally inspired gins and vodkas. Learn how gin is made, the history of What-a-Hoot and have a TASTER with LIGHT LUNCH.

BURE VALLEY STEAM RAILWAY Enjoy a nostalgic trip on Norfolk’s longest narrow-gauge railway from Aylsham to Wroxham, passing through meadowland and ancient pasture. From Horning, take a cruise on the NORFOLK BROADS on board a MISSISSIPPI STYLE PADDLE BOAT. Sailing past pretty thatched houses, iconic windmills and Norfolk reed beds.
