CHESTER is a classic, contemporary city with a 2,000 year history! The city has over 550 listed buildings and is encircled by a glorious 2-mile ring of Roman and medieval walls. Famous for its Amphitheatre- the largest in Britain and the half-timbered totally unique covered ‘Rows’ which are bursting with independent boutiques and high street stores.

RIVER DEE BOAT CRUISE see Chester from a different perspective on a 30 minute cruise on the River Dee. Discover beautiful and interesting riverside scenery and wildlife.

Cruise along the beautiful VALE OF LLANGOLLEN  on board a brightly coloured canal boat, crossing the PONTCYSLLTE AQUEDUCT fondly referred to as the ‘Stream in the Sky’. An informative commentary will give an insight into the history of the area.

Experience rail travel as it used to be on the LLANGOLLEN RAILWAY the only standard gauge heritage railway in North Wales! Take a step back in time to the days of steam on a return 20 mile journey through the stunning Dee Valley.

Ride on the magnificent ANDERTON BOAT LIFT a fascinating piece of Victorian machinery. Climb on board the Edwin Clark boat, the structure then lifts the boat  from the River Weaver to the Trent & Mersey canal high above. Included in this experience is a cruise along the picturesque River Weaver.

NANTWICH is an historic market town dating from medieval times with many of its striking black and white buildings dotted around. Nantwich prospered as a valuable salt producing town due to its natural brine springs nearby.
