MOLVENO is a charming old village and just a short walk from the hotel, you’ll find a lakeside promenade, an award winning beach and pretty gardens to explore. The village’s historic centre is laid out around the church and its bell tower and the surrounding streets are lined with typical Alpine shops, cafes and houses, some of which still have traditional Trentino balconies. LAKE MOLVENO with beautiful crystal clear water, is the second largest in the region and known as ‘an island of blue in a sea of green’.
The GREAT DOLOMITE ROAD runs for 110km with stunning views along the way. Almost all of the major Dolomite peaks can be seen from the road, as you pass through steep gorges, beautiful valleys, past lakes and picturesque towns and villages. We are joined by a local guide who will provide an informative commentary.
VERONA is one of Italy’s loveliest cities and is a must see for any visitor to the region. Some of the highlights include: the grand Roman Arena, an enormous Roman amphitheatre, still used today to stage operas during the summer, Piazza Erbe, Verona’s most attractive square and Juliet’s House and Balcony, supposedly the location from Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
Enjoy a relaxing CRUISE ON LAKE GARDA. From Torbole we cruise along the west coast of the lake passing the picturesque resort of Limone. We them cross to Malcesine where you will have some time to explore.
MALCESINE is set on the edge of stunning lake Garda and at the foot the majestic Mount Baldo. It has a quaint, picturesque harbour, a the town centre which dates back to medieval times with a 13th century castle and labyrinth of narrow cobbled streets – all just waiting to be discovered! On your return you will also have time to explore the beautiful town of RIVA DEL GARDA.
