The magnificent SLIEVE LEAGUE CLIFFS are among the highest marine cliffs in Europe, swooping down from the highest point to the Atlantic below, a distance of nearly 2,000 feet! Take a step back in time and visit the GLENCOLMCILLE FOLK VILLAGE. A cluster of cottages, each a replica of dwellings from the 18th,19th and 20th centuries, all giving a fascinating insight to rural Irish life in this remote coastal area. Its said to be one of Ireland’s best living-history museums.
ULSTER AMERICAN FOLK PARK is a unique chance to follow the trail of thousands of emigrants from the thatched cottages of Ulster, on board a full-scale emigrant sailing ship to the log cabins of the American Frontier. Wander through the thatched cottages and log cabins and meet costumed characters who will show you traditional crafts, tell you a few stories and maybe even share a bit of their good food.
