A short hop and a skip across the Solent is the Isle of Wight, said to be the inspiration for Lewis Carol to write his magical story Alice in Wonderland. Here you’ll discover exceptional scenery of the high downs, soaring cliffs, long sandy beaches fringed by farms and forestland, fishing villages and bustling resorts.

SANDOWN sits on the southern coast of the island in a beautiful, sheltered bay. This bustling resort is a firm favourite with all who visit with its esplanade, seaside cafes, souvenir shops, traditional pleasure pier and its long stretch of golden sandy beach, its one of the most recognisable beach fronts on the island.

ISLAND TOUR The island measures 23 miles by 13 miles and is peppered with picturesque villages and bustling small towns. From the comfort of our coach enjoy stunning coastal and countryside views as we explore the island. Discover the picture postcard side of the island, quintessentially English thatched cottages, towering chalk cliffs, and golden sandy beaches.

OSBORNE HOUSE is the palatial former holiday home of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Step inside to explore the sumptuous ground floor State Rooms, the stunning Indian décor of the Dunbar Room and the Private Apartments including the Queen’s bedroom, nursery rooms and royal bathrooms. Outside discover the Swiss Cottage, a chalet built for the royal children, the Victorian Walled Garden and garden terraces with stunning views across the Solent that reminded Prince Albert of the Bay of Naples.
