The bustling village of LLANBERRIS lies at the foot of Snowdon and on the edge of the lake, Llyn Padarn. The village is also home to the National Slate Museum, Llanberris Lake Railway, Snowdon Mountain Railway and the Electric Mountain Visitor Centre.

Since 1896 visitors have been travelling to Llanberris to experience the SNOWDON MOUNTAIN RAILWAY. It has been described as one of the most unique and wonderful rail journeys in the world! This amazing railway travels to the summit of Mount Snowdon,’ Wales and England’s highest mountain, passing stunning scenery and awe-inspiring views along the way.

BEAUMARIS is a captivating seaside town complete with its own castle on the Island of Anglesey and has an attractive mix of medieval, Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture. From the town’s pier a PUFFIN ISLAND CRUISE will sail along the Menai Straits to Puffin Island viewing spectacular scenery and an array of wildlife. Along the way the captain will give an entertaining and informative commentary.

PORTMEIRION VILLAGE & GARDENS is where the Italian Riviera meets rural Wales! Recently named as one of Britain’s most beautiful seaside villages its full of history and architecture. The setting is stunning; a central piazza surrounded by a cluster of colour-washed buildings, historic cottages, two hotels and restaurants all surrounded by sub-tropical woodlands, secret gardens and not forgetting the white sandy beach. It was the dream of Clough Williams-Ellis and was created between 1925 and 1973 and is probably most famous as the location used for filming The Prisoner in the 1960’s.
