Enjoy a mid week holiday at a grand country house in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, a county brimming with breathtaking scenery and dramatic landscapes.

 

We stay at the lovely ALVASTON HALL where you are spoilt for choice with the abundance activities including; Archery and Rifle shooting, Nordic walking, bowls, putting, croquet, golf, curling and a games room.

Entertainment at The Grove Cabaret Restaurant starts right after dinner, so you can take time over your dessert.

During this week enjoy “ ‘West End to Warner’ with essentially Musical, performing songs from Les Mis, Cats and the Jersey Boys”.

 

CHESTER is a classic, contemporary city with a 2,000 year history! The city has over 550 listed buildings and is encircled by a glorious 2-mile ring of Roman and medieval walls. Chester is famous for its Amphitheatre- the largest in Britain and the half-timbered totally unique covered ‘Rows’ which are bursting with independent boutiques and high street stores.

 

ARLEY HALL & GARDENS is one of the most interesting and attractive stately homes, full of character and charm. Features include; elaborate ceilings; oak panelling, impressive fireplaces and intricate stained glass, all help to make this home so special. The Gardens offer an unusual blend of history and traditional design with inspired modern ideas.

 

NANTWICH is an historic market town dating from medieval times with many of its striking black and white buildings dotted around. Nantwich prospered as a valuable salt producing town due to its natural brine springs nearby.
