The FRED DIBNAH HERITAGE CENTRE is housed in the famous steeplejack’s former home. He was a great British eccentric that had a passion for antiquated machinery and Victoriana. The house has been lovingly restored and much of the machinery in the grounds is just how Fred left it!

OLYMPUS FISH & CHIPS is an award winning, up-market family run restaurant attracting visitors from all parts of Lancashire, Cheshire and beyond – lunch here is included.


Uncover BURY’S rich and fascinating history at the town’s Art Fusilier and Bury Transport Museums. Its also an excellent shopping destination with its treasure trove of independent shops and of course its famous award-winning market.


EAST LANCASHIRE RAILWAY originally opened in 1846 to transport goods and workers from Lancashire towns and villages to Manchester. Now tourists can enjoy a 12-mile journey on a diesel or steam heritage train though lush countryside and quaint villages.


SALFORD QUAYS is Greater Manchester’s unique waterfront destination, it packs everything you can do in a big city into one spectacular square mile; shopping, sport, art, drama, history and world-class architecture! Museums here include; the Imperial War Museum North and The Lowry.

Last Drop Village Hotel

The 3 Star Last Drop Village Hotel, Bromley Cross is a unique hotel that combines modern accommodation with the historic charm of an 18th century village including a cafe and gift shop. All rooms are en suite and have a country-style decor, television, hairdryer, iron/board and tea/coffee facilities. Bedrooms are located in the main hotel building, the Courtyard Mews and in former Farmers Cottages. There is a lift to some rooms and the hotel has a limited number of ground floor rooms, Wi-Fi is also available.
