Discover the beauty of Poland, from its wide open plains, wild forests and majestic mountains to its picturesque old towns and captivating cities.

Perched between East & West its a country with a remarkable history, exceptional architecture, heart-warming food and customs.

WROCLAW located on the Odra River is one of the oldest cities in Poland and bears the stamp of several cultures. During a GUIDED WALKING TOUR discover the city’s history and beautiful architecture. Highlights include; a magnificent market square, the impressive Old Town Hall, St Elizabeth’s Church, 130 bridges, riverside parks and the beautifully preserved Cathedral Island. If you’d like to see the city from a different perspective then try a boat trip – with panoramic views of the Old Town and the imposing Grunwaldski suspension bridge.

KRAKOW is another of Poland’s oldest cities and is said to be one of the most beautiful in the whole of Europe. It retains much of its original charm with magnificent architecture, many renaissance churches, galleries and sculptures. Don’t miss the Rynek Glowny, the largest medieval square in Europe, filled with splendid houses and mansions, cafes, shops and bars. This compact city is best explored on foot so a GUIDED WALKING TOUR of the city has been included. Also on one evening enjoy an authentic FOLKLORE DINNER with entertainment.

AUSCHWITZ – BIRKENAU a poignant and moving experience. This museum is a World Heritage Site which stands as a primary symbol to the Holocaust. Many of the original buildings still stand, preserved as a bleak and extremely moving testament to the camp’s history.

The WIELICZKA SALT MINES are a World Heritage site, an amazing, secret underground world where a labyrinth of chambers, corridors, saline lakes and underground buildings can be found. Discover the intricate carvings of the miners, the most impressive is the Chapel of the Kings with alter pieces, chandeliers, and sculptures all carved out of salt!  (This visit involves a series of steps leading down into the mine-returning to the surface by lift.)
