EXETER is one of the oldest cities in England and is the capital city of Devon. Discover a magnificent Cathedral which dates back to Norman times or perhaps take a tour of Exeter’s Underground Passages. A hidden labyrinth which lays beneath the city built to house the pipes that brought clean water into medieval Exeter! If you prefer a quiet stroll and a relaxed atmosphere then the Quayside is the place to be, it’s here you’ll find the Customs House which dates back to 1861. Its now a visitor centre where you can learn of the history of the Quayside. Like any city Exeter has excellent shopping opportunities.
